Garry Itzstein

Executive General Manager - Operations

Garry joined ECM as Executive General Manager – Operations in 2018 bringing more than 35 years’ experience in the contracting industry, with the past 20 years being in executive management positions. His roles focuses on business improvement, corporate governance and strategic planning.

Most recently Garry was the Executive Director of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) in WA before which he was Executive General Manager of the Downer Services business which he helped grow to $440M per annum revenue by the end of his tenure.

Garry has been instrumental in the procurement, delivery and strategic leadership of numerous large, long term multidiscipline contracts for blue chip industrial and infrastructure clients nationwide.

Garry is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.


Ryan Weeks

General Manager - Projects

Ryan was appointed General Manager – Projects in 2014 after holding numerous positions including Operations Manager, Project Manager and Contracts Manager since joining the company in 2005.

With a background in industrial construction projects including power generation, oil and gas and process plants, Ryan is responsible for managing major projects Australia wide. He brings to this role significant operational, contractual and commercial management experience.


Ian Hewitt

General Manager Eastern Region

Ian commenced at ECM as Operations Manager in May 2013 and is currently General Manager Eastern Region, responsible for ECM’s eastern Australia business and relationships.

His 30 years’ industry experience covers a diverse range of markets including mining, energy and infrastructure.


Patrick O'Boyle

General Manager - Services

Patrick joined ECM in 2014 as Manager – Growth and Development before becoming General Manager Corporate Development in 2015 which oversaw the identification and commercialisation of strategic acquisitions targets. In 2016 he became General Manager Services which encompasses the P+L responsibility for ECM’s fabrication, mechanical and electrical maintenance, sustaining capital, air-conditioning and labour hire service offerings.

He previously held roles with Downer Infrastructure, GHD and the Department of Industry and Resources.

Patrick holds a Bachelors Degree in Mass Media and Communication, a Masters of Business Administration (Exec), a Masters of Science (Minerals and Energy Economics) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
