Project Overview

The Parker Point Fuel Terminal is located at the RTIO Dampier facility in Western Australia. Due to an expansion of its current iron ore operations, RTIO forecasted requirements for diesel to increase by more than 50 per cent over three years, requiring an upgrade to its fuel storage and distribution facilities.

As part of the upgrade, ECM was awarded the structural, mechanical and piping works contract to install RT and RTC pumps and filters, oily water sump pumps, oily water separation system, Stadis dosing system, pipework and supports. It also includes the fabrication and installation of platforms, walk ways, handrails and stairs for the north and south bund areas.

ECM was also awarded the EC&I contract to install cables ladders, cabling and instrumentation to the RTG and RTC pumps, oily water sump pumps, oily water separation system, Stadis dosing system, tanks, and other associated equipment.
